| Met de introductie van de op de G92 chips gebaseerde GeForce 8800 GT heeft nVidia een nieuwe topper als we kijken naar prijs/prestatie-verhouding. Voor nog geen 250 euro koop je een kaart die qua prestaties de oude GTS voorbij streeft en zelfs in enkele gevallen gevaarlijk dicht bij de veel duurdere GeForce 8800 GTX in de buurt komt. Een ander groot pluspunt is de de nieuwe GeForce 8800 GT de PureVideo HD functionaliteit zoals we die kennen van de GeForce 8600 aan boord heeft. Het beste van twee werelden dus! Voor wie op zoek is naar een nieuwe, snelle DirectX 10 videokaart is de GeForce 8800 GT zodoende in één klap de meest over de hand liggende optie. Beeldkwaliteit Prima beeldkwaliteit. Bij de meeste games is het beeld geweldig. Ik heb zelf het beeld ingesteld op een resolutie van 1680 x 1050 pixels en dat ziet er zeer goed uit. Je merkt meteen dat het een best goed kaartje is! Geluidsproductie
Zonder deze videokaart zou mijn computer bijna stil zijn. De koeler van deze videokaart maakt best wel wat lawaai maar ... |

Beeldkwaliteit Over de beeldkwaliteit van deze kaart kan ik kort en bondig zijn: Geweldig. Op dit gebied is er niet aan te merken op deze kaart en biedt deze kaart veruit de beste prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Geluidsproductie

Voor deze kaart had ik een 7900GTX en daarvoor een X1950 Pro. Alledrie heb ik ze op dezelfde monitor gebruikt en gewoon in windows of tijdens het kijken van een film zag ik geen verschil. In games was de beeldkwaliteit wel een stuk beter. Ik had het idee dat de AA er opdezelfde instelling wat mooier uitzag dan met de 7900GTX.
