HP releases two more workstation-prone widescreen LCDs

The future owner of Colubris Networks , HP, has released a couple of new widescreen monitors that are designed for the workstation user, the 22-inch LP2275w and 24-inch LP2475w. The two LCDs have a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 6ms response time (grey to grey) and are backed by a 3-year warranty. The LP2475w has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a brightness of 400 nits and, in addition to the six USB ports, it features dual-DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Component Video and S-Video connectivity. As for the smaller and cheaper LP2275w, it offers a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, four USB ports and VGA, DVI and DisplayPort connectors. HP's LP2475w can already be found in stores for about $649 with the LP2275w set to arrive next month and cost $459. HP LP2475W
