| Toen we recentelijk een groot aantal moederborden geschikt voor Intel Core 2 Duo onder de loep namen, kon MSI on suit haar P965 reeks alleen maar het instapmodel, de P965 Neo-F, toesturen. Dit moederbord bood prima stabiliteit en prestaties maar zal voor hardwareliefhebbers absoluut niet de eerste keus zijn dankzij het vrijwel geheel afwezig zijn van extra features of goede overklokmogelijkheden. Inmiddels is MSI’s topmodel P965 moederbord, de P965 Platinum, ook beschikbaar en bindt men hiermee de strijd aan met ASUS’ P5B Delux en Gigabytes 965P-DQ6. Lees meer |

| Met de opkomst van de Intel Core 2 Duo wordt ook ATI’s Crossfire systeem steeds populairder. Dat is niet verbazingwekkend, aangezien de populaire Intel chipsets wél ondersteuning bieden voor Crossfire, maar niet voor SLI.
