Overclocking
A very good overclocker. FSB of 1600 + if you have a good motherboard. Lowered the FSB to 800mhz. With a multiplier of x9 and a bus speed of 401, I am able to run my PC at 3.609 Ghz daily with no problem, crashing or stability issues. My PC rated FSB is usually 1604. Stability Stable from the first installation. Was detected as 1066 by my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R). Lowered it to 800 so as enable very high overclocks by playingwith the CPU multiplier on the motherboard. Due to the heat pipes around it, I guess that is why they don't get hot as much even after 8 hours of playing a game like Crysis. I was still able to touch the RAM for 10 seconds and not get burnt Intel Core 2Quad 2.4 @ 3.609, Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R, OCZ Reaper HPC DDR-1066 CL5 kit, Sharkoon Seraphim case, 2x120mm sharkoon silent eagle 1000 fans, 2x140mm sharkoon midrange fans, 2x80mm sharkoon silent eagle LED fans, |
