An interesting new feature in Windows 7 is the improved support for multi-touch monitors. Several brands are responding to this by introducing affordable multi-touch screens for the regular consumer market. Dell has completed the SX2210T, a 21,5" screen with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a 2 ms response time. The screen has a black border which features a built-in 2 megapixel webcam.

Dell's new multi-touch monitor sports a contrastratio of 1.000:1 (50.000:1 dynamically) and a maximum brightness of 220 cd/m². The SX2210T is equipped with VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors and comes with three years of warranty. Dell has specified a $469 USD pricetag for this Full HD multi-touch monitor.
