Yesterday, Techpowerup released a new version of its GPU-Z software. This brings the program, which provides graphics cards diagnostics, up to version 0.3.6. Several graphics cards have been released in the last weeks, which made it clear the GPU-Z software required an update as well. The most important changes are mentioned below:
- Addition of infotips on the individual specifications (can be disabled)
- Added support for the upcoming HD5900 (Hemlock), HD5600 (Cedar) and HD5300 (Redwood) graphics cards
- Full support for HD5850, HD5770 and HD5750 cards
- GPU-Z no longer crashes in certain CrossFire configurations
- Fillrate Pixel, Fillrate Texel and memory bandwidth are now calculated properly when overclocked
- Bus interface and amount of shader units on certain ATI cards is refreshed more often
- Voltages for HD5850 are now available
- Second voltage on the HD5870 now features the correct VDDCI name
- Better detection for fake nVidia graphics cards (NV41 pretending to be an 9800GT for instance)
- Added support for ATI FireGL V7600, M92 en RS880 GPU's
- Added detection for NVIDIA GT 130, 9600 GE, Tesla C1060, G 220, GT 220, NVS 3100, GTS 160 M, NVS 160M, NVS 150M, G105M, GT 240M, G105M, G210M, G310M en ION LE cards
- Specifications of nVidia's G72 M chip such as die-size and transistor-amount has been corrected
