Sharkoon is planning to expand its Silent Eagle series of CPU-coolers with two new models, the C92 and C120. As the names suggest, the coolers respectively feature a 92 and 120 mm fan. The C120 is also equipped with a large metal heatsink. Apart from that, there's barely any difference between the two coolers.
Both the Silent Eagle C92 and C120 are tower models sporting four 8 mm copper heatpipes that are in direct contact with the processor. Sharkoon states that this creates the best possible heat dissipation. Both models also have a temperature-controlled fan.
The C92 is sized 120 x 92 x 77 mm and weighs exactly 550 grams. Its 92 mm fan spins at speeds between 350 and 1600 RPM, while displacing up to 43,16 CFM at a sound production of 24,8 dB(A). The C120 has dimensions of 157 x 125 x 86 mm and weighs 755 grams. This model has its fanspeeds ranging from 350 to 1200 RPM, producing up to 20,5 dB(A) while displacing 49,1 CFM of air.
Both coolers support Intel and AMD sockets by means of the bundled push-pins for LGA775 and LGA1366, as well as mounting clips for socket 754, 939 and AM2(+). LGA1156 compatibility is to be added in the near future. A small pack of thermal paste is also bundled with the coolers.
Sharkoon's Silent Eagle C92 and C120 are to be released shortly, sporting pricetags of respectively €24,90 and €29,90.
