Specifications Dell Zino released

In August, the first images and alleged specifications of the Dell Inspiron Zino PC surfaced. The device, which is to be released later this month, will be available in two versions. The Inspiron Zino 300 is the cheapest version and features an Intel Atom processor, in combination with 1 GB of DDR2 memory and an integrated videochip. A 3,5" hard disk, 4-in-1 cardreader and DVD-burner are also present in the compact casing.

The Inspiron Zino 400 is slightly more expensive and uses an AMD Athlon (X2) processor, combined with up to 8 GB of DDR2 memory. Apart from the integrated videochip, there's also the option to decide for an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card. Because this would make the Zino 400 capable of playing Blu-ray media, this model can be equipped with a Blu-ray player, rather than the conventional DVD burner. Lastly, the Zino 400 also sports two eSATA ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connectors, WiFi module and both a D-Sub and an HDMI video output.

Dell's Inspiron Zino 300 and Zino 400 are to be released by the end of October.
