New Samsung monitor with LED-backlight

Samsung has introduced a new 23-inch LCD-monitor with LED-backlight. The screen, branded XL2370 features the Touch of Color-design, which is also used in the P2070, P2370 and P2370HD LCD-monitors. Samsung claims a reduced power consumption of up to 40% compared to monitors without LED-technology.

The Samsung XL2370 has a Full HD resolution, 2 ms (gray-to-gray) response time and a dynamic contrast ratio of 5.000.000:1. By means of Starlight Touch Controls, settings can be adjusted through an On Screeen Display. It's expected that the monitor will be released on the European market in August. A price has not yet been mentioned.
