During the Computex convention, manufacturer Ikonik has announced that its SIM-module -known from the company's high-end chassis- will be sold seperately as well. This module can be placed in any free 3,5" harddiskbay and allows six casefans and the six bundled temperature sensors to be connected to it. The device is connected through internal USB, after which software allows for temperature monitoring and fanspeed control. The software is able to store multiple profiles, for instance to make the system super quiet, or optimize the cooling. There's also an option to have the device automatically adjust the fanspeed based on the measured temperatures.

Currently there's no information available regarding the price of a seperate SIM-module. The device is to be released soon.
