AMD expands its line-up of embedded GPU's with the ATI Radeon E490 GPU. The chip supports DirectX 10.1, Unified Video Decoder (UVD) 2.0 and OpenGL 3.0. According to AMD, the chip is up to three times faster than the previous generation of integrated GPU's. The chip is a 55nm one and features 320 stream processors and a 128-bit memory interface.

The chip's core is clocked at 600 MHz and the 512 MB GDDR3 memory has a 700 MHz frequency. The GPU can also be used in Hybrid CrossFireX configurations.
