ASUS claims to have the world's fastest graphics card on its Computex stand. The Mars GTX295/2DI/4GD3 is -as the name suggests- a GeForce GTX 295 card. The remarkable thing about this card is that the specifications are closer to that of two seperate GeForce 285 graphics cards. The card features two nVidia GT200b chips, both clocked at 648 MHz and with a shader clock frequency of 2,4 GHz. This makes the card about 21% faster than a 'regular' GeForce GTX 295 straight out of the box. It's quite obvious that overclockers will be able to reach an even greater performance boost with the cards. ASUS claims that one of their associated overclockers has been able to reach a 3DMark Vantage score of X25057 points with the card, using liquid nitrogen to cool it. Though this claim cannot currently be verified, ASUS reports that it is a new world record.

If you wish to obtain an ASUS Mars card, you better be fast. The GPU will be released in a limited edition of 1000 pieces. The first two serial numbers are already out of the running, as they've been used in the Computex demonstration.
