Last week images showing the new dual-GPU GTX 295 nVidia graphics card surfaced on the internet. This new model has both the videochips integrated on a single PCB, while previously the card featured two seperate circuit boards. Because of the new design, the card will be a lot easier to produce, making it possible for the GPU to be cheaper as well. When the images of the GTX 295 appeared, it was expected that the card would be released by the end of May.

It seems that people got their hopes up a bit early though; according to TweakTown, nVidia's new topmodel won't be available until the end of June. It's likely that nVidia will present the card during the upcoming Computex conference.

The single-PCB GTX  295 won't bring much news, retaining both the price and the specifications of the current double-PCB version of the card. The clock frequencies of the GPU's, 480 shader units and the 1792 MB of memory are respectively 576, 1242 and 1998 MHz.

The new single-PCB GTX 295 will not be available until the end of June
