New Samsung Touch of Color monitors

Samsung has added three new monitors to its line-up. The P2070, P2370 and P2370HD are positioned in the Touch of Color-series and feature a modern design.

The P2070 and P2370 are 30 mm thick, the P2370HD has an integrated HDTV receiver and HDMI-connector, which brings the depth of the screen to 65,5 mm.

Samsung has specified a 50.000:1 contrastratio and a gray-to-gray response time of 2 ms. The P2370HD has a response time of 5 ms. Power consumption is specified at 26 Watt for the P2070, 30 Watt for the P2370 and 51 Watt for the P2370HD. The company has specially designed the stand to be as unreflective as possible. The Samsung Startlight Touch Controls feature an On Screen Display (OSD) which has the buttons embedded into the screen. These buttons illuminate when pressed.

The P2070 has a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution, the P2370 has a 1920 x 1080 resolution.  The P2370HD also features the Full HD-panel and sports integrated speakers with SRS TruSurround HD support as well. The screen also has a remote bundled. Apart from an HDMI-connector, the P2370HD also has a component input.
