Point of View has designed an ION motherboard that differs from rivaling models. The mini-ITX motherboard features nVidia's MCP7A-ION chipset and can be combined with either an Intel Atom 230 or 330 processor. There's room for two SO-DIMM memory modules of up to 2 GB in total. A PCI-e x16 slot is also present on the motherboard.

A standard ATX power supply is required, as can be concluded from the presence of the 24-pin ATX connector. There are four SATA-connectors, a Realtek ALC662 5.1-channel audiochip with optical SPDIF output support, six USB-ports -two through a header-, DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and Gigabit LAN ports available on the board. The ION chipset and Atom processor are cooled passively by heatsinks.
As of yet, there's no price known for the motherboard.
