Sharkoon presents a new series of power supplies branded Silent Storm. As the name suggests, the most prominent feature of the line-up is silence. The improved series will feature three models with capacities of respectively 460 Watt, 560 Watt and 660 Watt. Each of the supplies has modular flat cables to retain an optimal airflow in the chassis.

The Silent Storm in black casing with silver fan grill uses modular cabling.

The power supply has a maximum efficiency of 84% and the topmodel features four independent +12V rails that together are able to produce 72 Amps. The supplies are equipped with a 135 mm fan which -at maximum speed- produces 17.4 dbA in the 460 Watt model, 19.8 dbA in the 560 Watt version and 23.4 dbA in the 660 Watt model. All three of the PSUs are compatible with the EPS 2.91 specifications and are built conforming the ATX 12V 2.2 standard, which means that all Intel and AMD systems are supported.

Sharkoon's new supplies will become available later this month and are bundled with three years of warranty. The Sharkoon Silent Storm CM 460 Watt has a recommended price of 80 Euro, while the CM 560 Watt and CM 660 Watt bear respective prices of 88 and 100 Euro.
