Scythe has introduced a copper version of the Mugen 2 processor cooler. The original aluminum version of this cooler already weighs 870 grams. The new Mugen 2 consists completely of copper and weighs an incredible 1.8 kilograms.

It's expected that this Mugen will perform better than the regular version, that is, if the cooler is secured on the motherboard properly. As of yet, there's no information available regarding pricing and release date. It's likely that the Scythe Mugen 2 Copper will be a limited edition.
