Yesterday, Lian Li introduced its third notebookcooler. The cooler, branded NC-09 will exist next to the already available NC-01 and NC-02, which are respectively compatible with 15-inch and 17-inch notebooks. The NC-09 on the other hand, is compatible with a number of notebooks, sized 12.1-, 14-, 15- and 17-inch. According to Lian Li, its latest addition to the notebookcooler series is also quite capable of keeping high-end models cooled down; the cooler is made out of lightweight brushed aluminum and features a massive 220 mm fan.

The 220 mm fan with blue LED is powered through a Mini-USB connector. The same cable is also capable of running a 'light' USB-device next to the fan, such as a flashdrive. This allows the NC-09 to be used without losing a USB-port.

The NC-09 is sized 400 x 337 x 34 mm, it has two additional USB-connectors and what seems to be a button to enable/disable the fan and/or LEDs. The cooler's height can be adjusted in three levels, the lowest practically being flat. This allows users to also utilize Lian Li's new cooler when working with a notebook on their lap.

Lian Li's NC-09 is expected to cost about US $70 and should become available in May.
