Thin Shuttle all-in-one PC with touchscreen

Shuttle has launched a new all-in-one pc, branded X 5000TA. The device is only 3.6 centimeters thick and is based on the 1.6 GHz dualcore Intel Atom 330 processor. The used screen is an LED-backlighted 15."6 touchscreen with a 1366x768 resolution. 

The X 5000TA has 1 GB of DDR2-memory, as well as a 160 GB harddisk and a 4-in-1 cardreader. An optical drive seems to be missing. The system is powered by a passively cooled 65 W power supply. 

The integrated GMA 950 chip provides the system's graphics. The mini PC also has five USB-ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi and 5.1-channel audio. 

The all-in-one also has integrated speakers and a 1.3 megapixel webcam with microphone. The device can be mounted on the wall by means of a Vesa bracket. It can also be physically secured by using a Kensington lock. For users who prefer moving their mini PC around, Shuttle has installed a handle that slides out the back. 

Shuttle's X 5000TA is available with Windows Vista Home Basic and a year of pick-up-and-return warranty for 594 euro (incl. VAT). It's also possible to order the PC without operating system, this will set you back 499 euro (one year carry-in warranty provided). Shuttle mentions that it is already working on different sizes, specifications and operating systems.
