Following companies as DFI and ASUS, manufacturer MSI introduces an Intel X58-based MicroATX motherboard as well. Because the motherboard is still under development, it only features a serial number; MS-7593. Japanese website PC Online has been able to picture this board, as can be seen below.
The X58 chipset on the MS-7594 will be combined with the ICH10 southbridge. The presence of six memory slots suggests that two triple channel DDR3 memory configurations are possible. The board also sports two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, which can be used for CrossFireX as well. Whether or not nVidia's SLI-technology will also be possible on this board is still unknown. Also present on the board are seven SATA 3.0 Gbit/s ports, 7.1 audio and a Gigabit networkcontroller. It's expected that there'll also be an eSATA-connector and that the cooling construction will differ in the retail version of the new motherboard.
MSI reports that its MS-7593 will be an entry model, keeping the price relatively low. An exact price and release date have not yet been mentioned.
