Spire has added a new CPU-cooler to its line-up. The VertiCool II Pro is compatible with AMD's Socket AM2/AM3 and Intel's S775 processors. It features two 8 mm heatpipes to remove the heat from the copper base (95 x 82 x 102 mm ) to the 45 aluminum fins.

The cooler is to be mounted on the bundled bracket, which is then installed using pushpins. The Turn-n-Lock system allows the cooler to be connected to the bracket by turning it 45 degrees.

The pre-installed fan runs at 2400 RPM, a speed of which Spire claims is able to produce an air displacement of almost 26 CFM, whilst keeping the sound production under 19 dBA.

Spire's VertiCool II Pro comes with the Spire 420 thermal paste. Pricing and availability is still unknown.
