ASUS has now officially added the Eee 1004DN to its Eee PC line-up. The new model features an optical DVD-burner and comes with the same keyboard that the earlier-announced 1000HE has. The device is equipped with Intel's Atom N280 processor which sports a 1.66 GHz clock frequency. Also present is a 120 GB hard disk, a webcam and a fingerprintscanner.

The ASUS Eee 1004DN will become available in mid-April, bearing a recommended price of approximately $560.
