Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has introduced new versions of nVidia's GeForce 9600 GTE and 9800 GTE graphics cards.
The N9800GTE-1GMU-F and N9600GTE-1GMU-F feature ECS Enduring Design, a technology of which the company claims enhances the card's reliability. By means of the Anti-bending metal bar, the GPU will not twist, bend or distort.
The company also claims a 40% reduction of the power consumption, without limiting the performance. The card's are cooled by MX-2 thermal paste and an Arctic Cooling fan, which allegedly keeps the sound production under 19.6 dB.
Both graphics cards are equipped with 1 GB of GDDR3-memory, clocked at 1800 MHz with a 256-bit memory interface. The 9800 GT's core has a 550 MHz frequency and the 9600 GT's chip a 600 MHz one.
