Early this year, a preview of Dell Adamo's notebook was already given. This week, the company has officially introduced the 13.4" Adamo notebook in the colors Pearl (as shown below) and Onyx.
The notebook has an aluminum casing with a 1.64 cm depth. The device weighs in at 1.81 kilograms. The used processor is either the Core 2 Duo Mobile SU9300 (1.2 GHz) or SU9400 (1.4 GHZ), both featuring 3 MB of cache and an 800 MHz FSB. There's also 4 GB of dual-channel DDR3-800 memory and a 128 GB SSD.
The Adamo features 3x USB, eSATA, Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and optional 3G connectivity. There's also a 1.3 megapixel integrated webcam. The Intel X4500 IGP provides the graphics on the 16:9 WLED screen, which supports video of up to 720p. The laptop has a DisplayPort connector.
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bits is bundled as operating system, as well as pre-installed on the device. Dell claims a battery life of 4 hours and 53 minutes on a full battery.
