Transcend presents new SDHC HD cards
Transcend introduces its latest generation of SDHC HD Video Cards, specially designed for the recording, storing and playback of high definition video material.
Nowadays, most camcorders are able to record video material at very high resolutions, without having to worry about quality loss. HD-video does come with a price: the amount of storage required for this type of data is far larger than on SD resolutions. Transcend claims that its SDHC Video cards are perfectly fit to record HD-video in a reliable high-quality manner.
When recording in high quality (1920x1080 AVCHD-format with 13Mbps compression) the 16GGB SDHC HD Video Card should be able to store up to 2 hours and 40 minutes of video. The same 16 GB card can also hold up to six hours of high definition video when a lower quality setting is used. To keep your files seperated, the SDHC cards feature a writable label.
The cards are available in versions of 4GB (TS4GSDHC6V), 8GB (TS8GSDHC6V) and 16GB (TS16GSDHC6V).
