[CeBIT 2009] New Lian Li cases
Tawainese case manufacturer Lian-Li has a number of interesting new cases on its CeBIT stand. First, there's the earlier shown PC-B71 case with eight hot-swappable SATA drivebays in the front panel. In front of these hard disks is a door with two 120 mm casefans to cool the disks. New on the CeBIT is an optional controller which can be placed in a 5.25" bay and makes it possible to individually enable and disable hard disks.

A completely new case is the PC-P50. One of the most remarkable aspects is the fact that it offers a screwless power supply installation. The used clamp features a rubber cover, to prevent resonation. A handy cablemanagement system has been placed behind the supply. A new type of metal clamp has been designed for the expansion cards. The 5.25" drives also have a new installation method. Lastly, two 120 mm fans have been placed in the top of the case, again with a rubber mounting.

As usual, Lian-Li has opted to construct the case completely out of aluminum. If you like the design, but aren't willing to pay the price, Lian-Li's B-brand Lancool might be a great choice for you. They have (almost) the same case design, branded PC-K60, but this case has a steel frame and plastic front panel.

LanCool has the same case, only then constructed out of steel.
