MSI is releasing the Wind U123 netbook in April. The netbook features a 10.2 inch screen and a faster Atom N280 processor. This CPU features a clock frequency of 1.66 GHz and has a 667 MHz FSB. The netbook will be available in four colors (white, metallic black, blue and red) and can be equipped with 2 GB of memory. The U123's battery is available in a 6-cell and 9-cell version.

It's possible that Wind netbooks with a screen diagonal of 11.6 or 12 inch are to be released later, as MSI is already working on the development of such netbooks, but is still uncertain when they will be available.

Apart from the Wind U123 with Atom N280, MSI is also working on the Wind U115, a high-end netbook. This machine will have an Atom Z530 processor and hybrid storage consisting of a small SLC-based SSD and a hard disk. The U115 will cost over $500. The prices of the U123 with Intel's Atom N280 are still unavailable.
