nVidia's G92b 3D-chip is not only used in the GeForce GTS 250, but is also found as GeForce GTX 260M and GTX 280M in notebooks. During the CeBIT,nVidia will launch both notebook versions of the G92b. The GTX 280M will be the fastest of the two, featuring the full 128 stream processors. The GTX 260M will have 112 stream processors.

The GTX 280 uses the GT200 3D-chip, the GTX 260M en 280M will feature a G92b 3D-chip

The GTX 260M has a 550 MHz clock frequency, with the DDDR3 memory clocked at 1900 MHz and the 112 stream processors at 1375 MHz. The exact specifications of the GTX 280M are still undisclosed. According to nVidia, the 55nm G92b will be significantly faster than the GeForce 9800M GTX.
