Earlier this month, nVidia announced that it will launch the nVidia GeForce GTS 240 and GTS 250 during the CeBIT convention, which takes places in early March. Though the launch seems like nothing than a renaming of the 9800GT(X+) series, XFX has already released product photos and specifications of its first GTS 250. The XFX graphics card is identical in hardware to the 9800GTX+, but is likely to feature 1 GB of GDDR3 video memory, rather than the earlier 512 MB.

The XFX version of the GTS 250 is also equipped with a special dualslot cooler, the same one we saw on the Radeon HD4850 of the same brand. The card will still feature a 55nm G92 chip with 128 stream processors and a 256-bit memory interface. The XFX GTS 250 is expected to launch when nVidia presents the cards during the CeBIT. Prices have not yet been mentioned.
