Intel's high-end X58 chipset of the Core i7 platform will soon be updated from the B2 to the B3 revision. The B3 revision features a number of alterations to the IOH component of the chipset. The exact changes have not been published by Intel, which likely means the changes are slight. Intel will start shipping the new B3 revision of its X58 chipset to motherboard manufacturers starting the 10th of April.
