Palit launches new GeForce GTX 285 graphics cards with either 1 GB or 2 GB of graphics memory. Both cards have the same clock frequencies for the core (648 MHz) and the GDDR3-memory (2500 MHz). The used memory interface is 512-bits.

The company has equipped the GeForce GTX 285 1 GB and 2 GB with a cooler of its own. The cooler consists of two PWM fans and four heatpipes. It's a similar model to the one on Palit's GTX260 Sonic.

Both cards feature two Dual-link DVI outputs, which support monitors with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels. Pricing and availability is still unknown.
