Thermaletake has introduced a new low-profile CPU-cooler. The MeOrb stands 47 mm tall, which makes it compatible with small HTPC-cases as well.

Thermaltake's MeOrb has two heatpipes which transfer the heat to the aluminum cooling fins. The base of the cooler is made of copper and features a mirror coating, which should provide the cooler with a perfectly smooth contact surface.

A PWM-fan has been placed on the cooler to completely remove the heat. This fan has a diameter of 92 mm and runs at a variable speed of between 800 and 1700 rpm, dependant on processor temperature. Thermaltake has also equipped the cooler with special fanblades to make the cooler spin more silently.
