Arctic Cooling has expanded the Accelero line-up with what they say is the ultimate product to cool nVidia's GTX 200 graphics cards. The Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 has three 92 mm PWM-controlled fans, as well as five heatpipes. The fans spin at 1000 to 2000 RPM, which according to Arctic Cooling, makes it possible to cool cards of up to 250 Watt. Another claim is that the new cooler keeps the temperature up to 31º Celsius lower than nVidia's reference model. Because of the PWM fans, the sound production should stay limited, even at full speed.
