Since the release of AMD's new 760G chipset last sunday, several manufacturers have been launching motherboards based on it. Biostar is one of these. The company's new TA760G M2+ is a micro-ATX budget motherboard that supports both AM2 and AM2+ processors.
The TA760G M2+ has four DDR2 memory slots and supports memory speeds of up to 1066 MHz. The motherboard sports an HD3000 videochip, which is clocked at 350 MHz. Thanks to the PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot, an additional graphics card can be added. Hybrid CrossfireX is also possible when an ATI Radeon GPU is added. The board also features six SATA ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, 5.1-channel audio and both a DVI and VGA-port.Biostar's TA760G M2+ is expected soon at a still undisclosed price.
Biostar's TA760G M2+ is to be a modest motherboard, bearing a modest price as well.
