DFI has officially launched its earlier-announced LANParty JR X58-T3H6, a MicroATX motherboard based on Intel's X58 chipset. With the additional launch of an X58 motherboard in the LANParty DK line-up, as well as the existing X58-T3eH8 board, DFI will have three X58 motherboards on the market for now.
The DFI LANParty JR X58-T3H6 seems unique, a MicroATX motherboard with Intel's high end X58 chipset. This obviously means that the motherboard supports Intel's Core i7 processors and triple channel DDR3-memory. It has two PCI-e 2.0 x16 slots, making both ATI CrossFireX and nVidia SLI possible. The board also has six SATA-ports, 7.1 HD Audio and Gbit Ethernet.
DFI's LANParty DK X58-T3eH6 is a newly introduced ATX motherboard. It has a few more features than its MicroATX brother. A third PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot is added, which makes nVidia's Triple SLI possible as well. The board also has two extra SATA-ports, making a total of eight.
Both motherboards feature onboard POWER and RESET buttons, an LED display for diagnostics and DFI's Genie BIOS for overclocking. Recommended prices are still unknown.
