The card has a sandwich design, meaning that it consists of two seperate PCB's, each equipped with a 55nm GT200 GPU. A heatsink is placed in the middle to keep the cards cooled down. It's possible to run two GeForce GTX 295 cards in a Quad SLI configuration. It's also possible to configure a single card so that one of the cores does the graphics, while the other core runs the physics (PhysX) calculations.
