Hexus' sources have confirmed that XFX, one of nVidia's most profound partners, will release ATI (AMD) graphics cards in the next year. It's expected that XFX will transfer the properties of its current XXX-series to the ATI Radeon HD2000, HD3000 and HD4000 series.

XFX will possibly reelase its own Radeon HD4800 graphics cards.

XFX will continue producing nVidia-based graphics cards. The company's decision to announce this news right now is rather remarkable, nVidia has been rumored to be strenghtening the connections with its strongest partners. Due to the extreme popularity of ATI's HD4000 line-up, it does seem like the right thing for XFX to team up with the company.

Hexus expects a formal press release by XFX next tuesday, containing more specific details.
