Earlier this week, Intel launched two new mobile dualcore Celeron processors in the notebook segment. The two new models are the Celeron Mobile T1600 and T1700, respectively clocked at 1.66 GHz and 1.843 GHz. Both 65nm dualcores have a 667 MHz FSB and 1 MB of L2 cache. The maximum power consumption is specified at 35 Watt. The processors are priced US $80 and $86 when purchased in quantities of 1000.

When a company purchases these processors in quantities of a 1000, they cost respectively $80 and $86 dollar each. As a result, I expect the consumer retail price to be between $100 and $110.
