ASUS introduces four new monitors in the VH-series. These Full HD-monitors (apart from the VH19C) are available in an 18.5-inch, two 21.5-inch and a 23.6-inch model. ASUS has equipped the screens with the Splendid Video Intelligence and ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio technologies. The company also claims that these are the ultimate 16:9 multimedia monitors.

The VH192C/SC is the 18.5 inch (1366 x 768) screen, the VH222 and VH226 are 21.5-inch in size and the VH242 is the 24-inch monitor. The maximum contrast is specified at 300 cd/m2. The screens have a dynamic contrast of 10.000:1 (VH192C/SC/D), 20.000:1 (VH222H/S), 12000:1 (VH226H/C) and 20.000:1 (VH242H/T). All screens have a viewing angle of 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertically. All but one of these monitors have a response time of 5 ms, the only different one is the VH226H/C, which has a 2 ms gray-to-gray response time.

The monitors feature a DVI-D and a D-Sub connector. Apart from the VH19C/SC/D, the screens also have an HDMI-connector. The 19-inch version however does have Green Power Technology integrated, which decreases the maximum power consumption to a mere 25 Watt. The other models have a specified consumption of 55 Watt. There is no information on pricing and availability yet.
