Earlier this week, A-Data released its latest memory modules, branded XPG-X DDR3-2133X v2.0. The introduction of these modules makes them the fastest DDR3-modules the company has to offer. They will become available in 2 GB and 4 GB dual channel kits, as well as 3 GB and 6 GB triple channel versions.

As the name suggests, the modules are clocked at a frequency of 2133 MHz, which makes for a total transfer speed of 17066 Mbyte/s. The memory has 10-10-10-30 latencies and require a voltage of 2.05 to 2.15 V. Apart from the aluminum heatspreader, the kits are bundled with a dual-fan aircooler to increase the overclocking potential. This active cooling features two 50 mm fans that spin at 3500 rpm. The sound production is specified to be 21.8 dB(A).

A-Data's XPG-X DDR3-2133X v2.0 memory kits have a lifetime warranty. A price has not yet been disclosed.
