Kingston technologies has informed us that they will release new DDR2 and DDR3 modules in the HyperX series. These new modules feature the latest cooling technology developed by Kingston, the HyperX Thermal Exchange heatspreaders. These new extended heatspreaders will ensure the modules will stay cool even when overclocked, making the new memory also interesting for PC-enthousiasts and overclockers.

The new series includes triple channel DDR3 modules especially designed and optimised for the new Core i7 platform, in speeds of 2000MHz,  1866MHz and 1800MHz, but also features DDR2 modules for the older platforms on speeds of 1066MHz and 800MHz.

Prices range from around 40 euros for a 2GB CL5 DDR2 800 kit up to 240 euros for a 3GB tripple channel DDR3 2000MHz CL9 kit. All kits feature a life long guarantee and support. More information about the new cooling system and these modules can be found on the Kingston europe website.
