Enermax introduces new PSU line

The new "Revolution 85+" line of PSU's by Enermax feature, as Enermax claim themselves, advanced innovations and are a completely new generation of power supplies. As can be guessed from the name the new line of PSU's received the 80 plus certificate, meaning, that they provide over 80% efficiency. Enermax themselves claim an efficiency of between 81 and 97%.

The new power supply will be available in four different flavours, being a 850W, a 950W, a 1050W and a 1250W model. All models measure 150 x 86 x 190mm and feature the "safeguard" and "SIP" (Surge and Inrush Protection) functions. Next to these safety features Enermax has implemented a technology called "Heatguard", which will automatically shut down the computer when the powersuplly reaches too high a temperature. 

When the supplies will be available and what they will cost has not yet been disclosed.
