1100 Watt modular Topower PSU

A few months ago, Topower introduced the 900 and 1100 W Powerbird power supplies. The company now introduces a Special Edition (SE) version of the latter. Like the 'regular' model, this supply is meant for high-end systems and workstations. 

The 1100 Watt Powerbird SE is a modular power supply that lives up to the ATX 12V 2.3 and EPS 2.92 standards. As expected of high-end power supplies, the 80Plus certificate is also present. There are six +12V rails which are able to deliver up to 20 Amps each. To provide enough power to the graphics cards, the supply features one 6-pin and two 6+2-pin PCI-Express power connectors. The supply also has eight SATA and six nolex connectors.

A 120 mm PWM-fan cools the Powerbird SE's inner. The case is made out of brushed aluminum. Topower's new SE power supply  has a recommended price of US $239 and comes in an aluminum carrying case.
