Spire has announced two CPU-coolers for Intel's socket LGA1366. The coolers are branded SP676S1 Thermax and SP679S1 Thermax II and are also compatible with AMD's socket AM2+. The Thermax features three heatpipes and a 90 mm fan, whereas the Thermax II has four heatpipes and a 120 mm fan.

According to Spire, both coolers are compatible with all of Intel's Core i7 processors. The Thermax has 45 aluminum fins to dissipate the heat, the Thermax II has 55 aluminum fins.

Spire's new coolers should become available in Europe starting December, a price has not yet been announced.
