Third MSI X58 motherboard branded Eclipse+

The specifications of MSI's X58 motherboards came available just over a month ago. The company is was to release three boards based on Intel's X58 chipset, the X58 Platinum, the Eclipse, and a third board that did not have a name yet. It's been about two weeks since the release of the Eclipse motherboard and MSI has announced that the third motherboard -intended for overclockers- will be branded Eclipse+. 

The differences between the Eclipse and the Eclipse+ are small. The Eclipse+ features four PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, where the Eclipse and X58 PLatinum have respectively three and two of those slots. The Eclipse+ will also have an nVidia NF200 chip, which makes it possible to use the Quad/3 Way SLI + PhysX functionality. 

It's still unclear when MSI's Eclipse+ motherboard will be released and at which cost.
