MSI launches colorful VR220 notebooks

Nowadays, the demands for notebooks reach beyond mere specifications. The design is becoming more and more important in the pick of a suitable laptop. MSI has formed an answer to this trend with three new versions of its VR220 notebook, each in a different bright color. The laptop can now be purchased dyed in a fluorescent blue, green or pink color.

The laptops have a 12.2 inch screen with a 1280x800 resolution. With the battery included, the whole weighs approximately 1.8 kilograms. MSI's VR220 YA are equipped with an Intel Celeron M or a Core Duo processor. They have a wireless N module and a bluetooth 2.0 receiver integrated, next to the Gbit LAN connector. Up to 4 GB of memory can be placed in the notebooks and as hard disk there's the choice between a 160, 250 and 320 GB model. 

To maximize the battery life, MSI has also added ECO functionality to the notebooks. This allows the user to swtich between Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office and Turbo Battery Mode to optimize the time it can run off a single battery. The three colorful VR220 YA laptops also feature an integrated webcam, three USB ports and a 3-in-1 cardreader. They will become available shortly and the price starts at €670,-.
