Foxconn has officially launched its Intel X58 Bloodrage and X58 Renaissance motherboards. With the introduction, the company also released the full specifications of both boards, which can be found below:
Foxconn's X58 Bloodrage specifications
Onboard sensors simplify voltage reading
The Quantum BIOS has numerous overclocking options
The specifications of the X58 Bloodrage board were already known earlier: it has four PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots with a total of 32 lanes. It also features SATA, PATA, eSATA and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), as well as ATI Crossfire and nVidia SLI. FireWire and two Gbit LAN controllers are also present.
The X58 Renaissance has several features, but lacks SLI-support
The X58 Renaissance lacks a few of the features that the X58 Bloodrage has, like a second Gbit LAN controller and nVidia SLI support. According to Foxconn, the Bloodrage is intended for the extreme enthusiasts, they place the Renaissance in the so-called Digital Life category.
Neither of the motherboards has a recommended price yet.
