When nVidia upgraded the GTX 260 by activating another shaderblock (from 192 to 216 active shaders), the partners weren't eager to release the new cards with the faster GTX 260 core. The reason for this was that they had quite a large stock of GTX 260 cards with 192 shaders that had to be sold first.
Leadtek has embraced the new card and branded it WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+. The card is based on nVidia's reference model and has clockspeeds of 602 MHz for the core and 1242 MHz for the now 216 shader units. The 896MB of GDDR3 memory has an effective clockspeed of 2214 MHz which is connected to the core via a 448-bit memory bus.
Part of the features are DirectX 10.0 support, PCI-Express 2.0, CUDA, nVidia PhysX, Purevideo HD and (Triple-)SLI. It's not known yet what Leadtek's new GTX260-216 will cost but it's scheduled to release soon.
