Last week we reported on the introduction of new motherboards based on the nVidia 9300 and 9400 chipset. Following ASUS, ECS, MSI and Zotac, it's now EVGA's turn to introduce an nVidia 9300-based motherboard: namely the EVGA 730i.
The motherboard supports the current 45nm generation of processors with an 1333 MHz FSB and socket 775. There's room for up to four DDR2 memory modules and there's also a single PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot, two PCI-Express x1 slot and three PCI slots. The integrated GeForce 9300 GPU will feature clock frequencies of 450 MHz and 1200 MHz for respectively the core and the shaders. EVGA's 730i will also support nVidia CUDA, PhysX, PureVideo HD and Hybrid SLI, it is equipped with a VGA, DVI and HDMI output. The board also features twelve USB ports, Gigabit LAN, one PATA and eight SATA connectors with support for RAID0, 1, 0+1, 5 and JOB as well as 7.1 audio.
