Devolo introduces new Homeplug AV-adaptors

Devolo expands its line of dLAN-products for home networks with two new user-friendly HomePlug AV-adaptors, the dLAN 200 Avplus and dLAN 200 AV Wireless G. 

The integrated power socket makes the dLAN 200 AVplus a solution for users that wish to create a fast home network but avoid losing any sockets. The netfilter improves data transfer compared to earlier models. The patented power-saving function automatically decreases the power consumption by 30% when devices in the dLAN network have been powered off for a prolonged time. 

Devolo claims that with the launch of the dLAN 200 AV Wireless G they have found an all-in-one solution for the users that are unable to use wireless networking. Thanks to the dLAN Wireless G it's possible to create a network using the power grid, and cross short distances wirelessly. The integrated 4-port switch makes allows additional devices to be connected to the network by simply plugging in a LAN-cable. Using the dLAN products doesn't require any additional software, making it a very simple solution. 

The combination of the two network technologies dLAN and WLAn makes the dLAN 200 AV Wireless G the foundation of a wireless network that isn't limited by ceilings or walls. The devices can easily be integrated into an existing dLAN-network by simply plugging in the adaptor. The Wireless G features "Quality of Servicde" functionality (QoS) and automatically recognizes the required bandwidth for audio and video data. The network can be protected using a 128 bit AES-encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard) with the press of a single button. 

The dLAN 200 AVplus will become available in the end of October, it bears a recommended price of € 79,90. The dLAN 200 AVplus Starte Kit, consisting of two dLAN 200 AVplus adaptors will cost € 149,90.  The dLAn 200 AV Wireless G will also become available around the end of October, this model has a recommended price of € 1459,90. The dLAN 200 AV Wireless G can be bundled with the dLAN 200 AVeasy in a handy starter kit, this kit costs € 199,90.
